An exquisite example of a 6 string D'Gamba tuned bass viol. This instrument has five tied-on gut frets on a hollow fret-board. It is tuned like a D dropped tuned guitar (D G C F A D) one octave lower. The scale length is 93cm - nut to bridge. The lower bout is 58cm. The overall length is 150cm. It is made with the finest materials and has a beautiful sound. It was fully serviced by Emil Cos in 1997.
